Monitoring scour after flooding and using various inspection techniques to provide detailed data for structure management.   

Contract to monitor scour development of a listed ancient monument in Machynlleth, North Powys on behalf of the North & Mid Wales Trunk Road Agency.

Using various methods of inspection including Drones and Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicles it was possible to determine the extent and severity of the scour problem, particularly after flooding. The contract is ongoing to develop a true picture of the structure, its condition and the movement of gravels within this river.
